To God be the glory for what He has, is doing & will do on Moose Factory Island

By van, train, barge & pickup trucks our LORD Jesus took us from Calvary Philly to Cree Gospel Chapel on Moose Factory Island, Ontario. He blessed us to be with and serve the people of Moose Cree First Nation, both young and old for seven days. They are now a part of our lives forever, glory to the LAMB!

We were blessed and honored to serve the people of the island at the Cree Gospel Chapel, on the radio, at the island’s hospital, on the streets, & at the Thomas Cheechoo Memorial community center. Our ministry consisted of teaching the Scriptures, giving testimony, playing sports, giving out hot dogs, presenting a mime, picking up trash, singing songs, laughing with children, doing crafts, playing games, sharing the gospel and loving people of a different place & culture with the love of the LORD.

We are aware of 8 teenagers publicly praying and inviting Jesus Christ to be their Savior. We are aware of 20 or more children from the VBS publicly praying and asking Jesus to come into their hearts. But there are glorious works of the Holy Spirit that we may not know until we stand around the throne of the LAMB. One little girl told one of our students on Wednesday, the third day of VBS that she had gone home on Tuesday and prayed for Jesus to be her personal Savior. So by God’s grace we may have planted or watered but our Great God gives the increase.

Sincere thanks to each person who prayed for us, our mission and the people of Moose Factory Island. Please continue to for Josh Oestreich, (pastor of Cree Gospel Chapel) his wife Kristen & baby Caleb. That the LORD would keep them healthy in spirit, soul & body. That the LORD would embolden, protect, preserve them. Pray that the Holy Spirit energizes and anoints them to do Jesus’ work, Jesus’ way for the eternal glory of Jesus our LORD.
