ABOUT:

George and Sharon Markey and their sons, Samuel, Kiyoshi, Peter, James, Andrew, and Isaac.

Due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, our current base of operations is Budapest, Hungary. There are tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees scattered across Hungary and even more across Europe. They are our new mission field. We have a dream that none of them would have to feel alone, but that each would have the opportunity to become part of a vibrant community of people who love Jesus. We are focusing on starting discipleship groups among them and training Ukrainians to lead them and multiply them.

PLEASE PRAY:

– That the gospel would go forth, and the Enemy would not be able to frighten, discourage, or hinder us.
– Financial provision for our family, as the cost of living in Hungary is much higher than in Ukraine.
– Wisdom to help our kids, who still struggle with the trauma of being displaced by the war.
– At least one good friend for each of our kids.
– Safety of friends and ministry co-laborers who are still in Ukraine.
– An end to this brutal war.
