LOCAL OUTREACH

WHAT:
Tuesday – Thursday:
We will spend these days in Chester, PA with the Greenhouse Project. A ministry in the city of Chester which provides a safe environment for life transformation for both adults and children. Their ministry is an outgrowth of the house church plant that began just before Covid. They offer youth mentorship, food outreaches for the community, recovery counseling and housing for ex-inmates and addicts. You can check out their website “ghproject.org”
We will be assisting them in their outreaches for these days, as well as some construction on at least one of their properties. It will likely involve some street witnessing.

Friday – Saturday:
For the final 2 days of our outreach week, we will be ministering alongside Calvary Chapel Word of Life in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. These days will be solely focused on Street Evangelism.
We will likely be meeting at Calvary Philly each morning around 7:30am and returning after dinner. We will travel together in a van. This will provide ample opportunity at the beginning and end of each day to pray, fellowship, and debrief.

Cost:
$250 This will cover all our meals for the week as well as the van rental for our transportation. Any money that is left over (if there is any) will be given to the ministries supported for this week.
Some details are subject to change, but this is generally what we would be committing to. Like any missions trip/outreach in the summer, it will be hot and we will spend the majority of our time on our feet doing physical work.
